Prizes and trials

I was asked again today how I win so many prizes and the answer is simple - find the best sites and enter everything!  As well as competitions, I do product trials and have had some great trials lately from biscuits and chocolate to sandals for Lauren, a candle making kit, the Carter puzzle (previous post) and toilet paper!

This massive Kleenex dog came this week with heaps of toilet paper and flushable wipes from Kleenex.  The McDonald's pack is Carter's prize from Hawks TV and the yummy mint Oreo wafers were a trial.

Today I received an email to say I'd won this $50 pack of baby products (shampoo, moisturiser etc)

and earlier this week won this LEGO board game for the tweens

A couple of months ago I won Carter the softest baby blanket from Max Daniel

 (we got the blue giraffe one)

We are working our way through the year's supply of laundry detergent I won earlier in the year and have some nappies and more baby products on the way.

My favourite pages and sites for prizes are Priceline on Facebook - they currently have giveaways every day for the whole month and do this regularly, a fantastic facebook page and website called Mumma's Mini Me's (about to have a name change from August 1st to Divine Finds), and other facebook pages like Cadbury, Nuby, Kraft, and Twinings.

Some of my favourite sites for trials are Kidspot, Vibe Village and Soup all really easy to be a part of and offering some fantastic trials that you just need to write a review for after trialling and in some cases post photos and share - easy!

Probably the best prize I've won was a $1000 David Jones voucher that we had a LOT of fun spending in Queensland a couple of years ago.  For that one I was sent some new chips to try, posted a couple of photos of people trying them, wrote a review and shared the info - that simple.

If you have a few minutes spare each day, check your email and/or facebook regularly, then it's well worth the time.  I felt certain that once we bought our new car I'd finally win one but no luck...YET!
