Family, Fun, Food!

One of our favourite family spots is Punchbowl Reserve. It's where we take visitors, go for BBQ's, picnics, birthdays and even Christmas breakfast one year. It's a great spot for the kids with plenty of room to run around. Yesterday we went there for Megan's birthday. The kids all LOVE it when I get the camera out and make them pose! As we have 6 of Mum's 8 Grandkids together, and I'd taken a similar photo two years go, I got them to pose in order again - of course this time we a new addition - Simon and Carmel's son Myka.

The Kiwi V Aussies cricket match was fun (even if there was a bit of dodgy bowling going on)

and rolling down the hill became a sport for the big boys...

...but not so much fun for Lol (wrapped in the blanket with her legs poking out!)

There was an unusual visitor,

and a regular

and of course the birthday girl with a chocolate ripple cake made by Georgina and David

Uncle Mark brought the good stuff

and the boiled lollies on the gingerbread house were VERY popular,

and so was this guy!

Hopefully we'll have lots more lovely sunny days this Summer to get together and enjoy Tassie's beautiful weather and reserves. We really are lucky here with everything so close and lots of fantastic parks. I'm not sure how much longer I'll get all the kids to pose in order though, but you can be sure I'll be trying again next year!
