Back to school!
After nearly 9 weeks of Summer holidays, Patrick and Lauren went back to school on Wednesday - Lauren happily, Patrick - not so much! Lauren is VERY excited to be in Grade 5 with a fantastic male teacher "Mr T", and Patrick has a great female teacher "Ms W" who is tough but fair and should be good for the unruly Grade 6 boys that ran amok last year in Grade 5. Lauren was ready for school about 3 weeks ago, and Patrick - well he'd love a permanent holiday, but so far has had a positive start to this last year of primary school (sob). It seems like only a year or two ago Patrick started Kindergarten and I had Lauren home with me alone for the first time. I guess I shouldn't reminisce about the Kinder years too much considering we'll be going there again in 2016!

oh man - it's so hard to believe that you will have two kids in High School and one going to kinder!!!! Glad they had a good week.
I know - I'm already preparing myself for the "are you the nanna?" comments!!!
