Camp Carnacoo

Patrick and Lauren went on camp on Friday night for two nights at

Camp Carnacoo,

and Lauren was just a little excited as it was here first camp ever!

It's set in beautiful surroundings at paper Beach, with heaps of room to explore and do "Cubs stuff"

(as Lauren told me when I asked her what they'd been doing!)

They went on walks, built dens in the bush, did chemistry experiments, sat by the campfire (inside luckily as it was FREEZING last night), toasted marshmallows and basically had a really good time with no TV, computers or DS's or any other gadgets! They finished off today with lots of games outside in the sun

(it was lovely - just a little cold in the shade though!)

This will be Patrick's last Cub camp.

After 3 years in Cubs, he's ready to move up to Scouts.

We stopped at Gravelly Beach on the way home

and at Brady's lookout

I have two very tired Cubs ready for an early night!
