Isn't it ironic (don't you think...)

Patrick's grade at school have held an Easter raffle to raise money for their Grade 6 leaver's functions at the end of the year (too scary to think about really). We sold 3 books of raffle tickets (30) and he also got a couple of extra entries into the raffle for taking in donations for the prizes. I laughed out loud when I saw him walking towards the car with two Easter bags this afternoon. He won 3rd prize - all the chocolates you can see in the photo plus lots of tiny solid eggs, and one of the cute bilby's, and I won the last prize - 11th - the small bag which has a couple of bunnies and lots of medium and tiny eggs plus a cute bilby! Luckily (and amazingly) Lauren received a Cadbury Catch-Up free block of chocolate in the mail today that Patrick sent her a month ago. That and having her Harry Potter wand arrive from Hong Kong (an ebay purchase) meant she didn't feel too left out! Me having gestational diabetes is the ironic bit, as being pregnant alone would not stop me eating more than my fair share! Patrick's are mostly Cadbury too which is great, and mine are cheaper so Shayne can have those :) Mum was only saying yesterday she was waiting to hear she won a prize (sorry Nanna).
