Not a giant!

I had my sizing ultrasound (due to the gestational diabetes) today and this baby is thankfully not a giant! Measuring at 33 weeks when I'm 32 weeks and 3 days is pretty good. They will do another scan at 36 weeks to make sure, and apparently pay close attention to the shoulder and abdomen size as they can grow out of proportion with gestational diabetes (ouch). I've had to up my insulin from 4 to 6, and now 8 units per night, but the 8 seem to have done the trick and are so far keeping my fasting levels within the normal range, and I'm hoping that will continue. Despite lying sideways now (ouch again) and not having a lot of room, the patient sonographer managed to get a decent photo (the bottom one) today.
12 weeks, 5 days
19 weeks 2 days 32 weeks 3 days
Only 7 weeks, 4 days to go (and possibly a lot less!)

It's so cool that you get to have so many pics of your little bub before you meet them.

That's funny Lorraine. I've been playing scrabble online and the words have been things like WOMB, URINE and NURSERY lately! Funny it should be udders as they want me to start "milking" next week and freeze some colustrum ready for the birth in case the baby has low blood sugar when they cut the cord - doesn't sound fun to me!
