Looking across our paddocks to Dry's Bluff
Today Shayne went to Liffey with Tracey, Aaron and Quinn. Tracey hadn't been up there for years, and it was Aaron and Quinn's first visit. I had hoped with all the snow around, there would at least be some on the mountain - but no luck!
Many years ago (BK) I made it to the top of Dry's Bluff (1340metres). It's amazing how flat it is on top with spectacular views. I remember putting my name in the visitors book not far down the list from Bob Brown, who has a cottage at the base of Dry's, where the track starts. I'd like to think I'll take the kids to the top one day - not sure if the same old book with my name will be in the biscuit tin buried in the cairn at the highest point though!
