donate blood!
There's nothing to stop you going in during these
last few weeks of 2008,
joining up, and getting the paperwork and initial testing done
so you are ready to donate in 2009!!
There will be thousands of people who will need
blood and blood products
over the holiday season, so why not give it a go?

Doesn't it hurt tho?
You have a finger prick to test you haemoglobin levels, then they numb the area before taking the blood, so you hardly feel it. It's nothing like getting a vaccination -THAT hurts!
