Paddy and I had "The Talk" a while ago, and regularly have discussions when questions come up. I thought I'd done alright until today! On the way home from school we were talking about the weddings and babies coming up in our family over the next few months. Lol piped up from the back seat and said
"you could have a baby Mum!" Before I could answer Patrick said,
"Lauren, Mum can't have a baby because she's had her umbilical cord removed!" I just about wet myself laughing, and needless to say, have explained a few things to Patrick in more detail!

Poor Lol and I got an anatomy lesson up close and personal on the weekend! After showering in the Aquatic Centre change rooms on Sunday, Lol turned around just as a VERY uninhibited elderly woman bent right over right behind Lol to retrieve her bathers from the floor! The look on Lol's face was priceless! I managed to silence Lol with a look, but it was too much for her when the woman then put her bathers on BACKWARDS and had to do the whole procedure again! I had to gag Lol and get out of there pretty fast as we were both in hysterics! Ahhh to be so unabashed!

Oh that is hysterical!!! Last year Jay started coming out with a few things and we have had a few talks as well. They just had their 'family planning' week last week and boy we are getting some things coming home now! I would mention them on the blog, but he will kill me in years to come!!! Like the other day while Noah's very straight and shy carer is here, Jay says to Aaron 'Dad, do you know that sperm comes from your testicals!?'. Aaron said he just about died as 'A' is so straight and she didn't say anything! So funny.

Lauren- the little performer - keeps doing re-enactments saying "whoops, I dropped my bathers" and bending from the waist with her butt sticking out - luckily with clothes on! I don't think she'll forget that experience for a while!
arrgh! oh no how horrible for lauren, poor girl will be scared for life! A similar experience happened to me at the aquatic centre ages ago.. not very pleasant!
What's wrong with very old very white bodies?? Poor Lauren it is a wonder she didn't say somefink.
