Steamfest

I took the kids to Steamfest at Sheffield today. It was a beautiful Autumn day, and there were heaps of people there, and a lot more to do do than I thought there'd be. The last time I was at Sheffield was for our 6 month anniversary when we went to Strahan, and I was pregnant with Paddy - almost 10 years ago!
We wanted to go on the train, but the wait was well over an hour by the time we went to get tickets.
Paddy loved the army display, and especially the firing of the gun!Making the most of the shade at lunchtime - it got quite hot.
We found a cool playground too!
Doing blockies - a scary insight into the future - 10 years time! I don't think Paddy will have a pink car though, and Lauren will most likely be the one driving!!! Paddy saw this on the news last night and had to have a go!I'd forgotten how pretty Sheffield is, especially with Mt Roland in the background.

We went on Saturday - it was a bit cold and not so busy, but still a good day.

Lisa - I love the photo of Lol with the headband on the sidebar - she has a lovely face - when you can see it through her hair!!!
