Prepared to be prepared!

Lol has just gone off to her 3rd week of Cubs with Patrick. They get a few weeks trial before they have to decide whether they want to join up for the year. For Lauren it was never a question of "If" but "When?" She could have joined last year, but we wanted Paddy to have a year on his own. Now they'll have a year together before Patrick moves up to Scouts next year. I bought Lauren her shirt, woggle and record book yesterday, and the next stage is to be invested (when the leaders determine she's ready). She is very excited! Lucky Nanna gets twice the badges to sew now, as I am a recovering sewaphobe - can't go near the stuff!
