A dog of a day!

Since it was such a nice day today, I thought I should wash Beau.

Now she's getting older, it's not my favourite job,

but it needed to be done.

Beau is an outside dog, but for the first time ever,

she slept in the laundry on her dog bed,

for Winter this year.

With such a thick coat, it's easier to brush all the old Winter fluff out after she's been washed. I find washing her in the shower is the easiest

(and better for the spa!!!).

I put a towel in the bottom so the poor old girl doesn't slip.

She's 13 in December, blind in one eye, and not as sprightly as she used to be, but she still managed to shake all over me, and have a bit of a roll around outside after I washed her!
