Today was the official opening of the
Summerdale Primary School Art Gallery.
Each year, art by Summerdale students is framed and displayed,
including work by a featured student artist.
There is also a guest artist from the community,
and special guests and MP's are invited.
Lauren sang in the Grade Two Choir at the opening.
Lauren loves to sing, and takes it very seriously!

So cute! Jay loves singing too, but its not considered cool to sing if you are a boy in grade 3 so he's given it up - such a pity.
Yes-Patrick was the same. He tried out for the next level "The Minstrels" this year but missed out. I noticed yesterday they only had two boys in it and about 20 girls - it's from grade 3 up.
She looks so proud, and is standing so straight with her hands behind her back like she's probably been told. How gorgeous, and how good to keep.
