In the last week I have twisted my ankle, hurt my eye, blown up our washing machine, and now the ute needs surgery!

*I twisted my ankle badly walking last Monday, and it's still swollen and sore!
*I woke up with a very sore and extremely bloodshot eye last Thursday and it's still not good!
*Shayne saw an ad for Harvey Norman "pay nothing until 2010", and suggested we look at washing machines - as ours is 12 years old and a bit "clunky" lately - and then it packed it in! (Golden rule - never mention replacing a major household appliance in front of it!!)
*Shayne's ute is playing up and needs work - of course it is this week when he's relieving at George Town, and not while he's at Riverside (that'd be too easy!)

The ute's in to be fixed tomorrow (hopefully it's not terminal as we need it to pick up the washing machine!!!) and the washing machine may have another life left yet. Fingers crossed that's it!
I don't dare say "what next?"

I WAS WRONG!
While I was whinging yesterday (see above) my washing machine had been repaired and returned to me (thanks Kel!) and all for under $100. Shayne's ute ran beautifully on the way to be repaired, but we got it checked anyway -especially as he's travelling so far this week, and it only cost $30!!! I also got paid more than I expected, so whinge away - it obviously works!

Thanks Georgina! While I was having a good whinge, the washing machine fairy had delivered my washing machine back to me - all fixed-YAY! Thanks Pa!
