As is usual for the weather lately, it gets hotter after 3pm, with the hottest part of the day being around 4 - 5pm. No longer can we afford to just stay out of the sun between 11 and 3pm. I've heard that some of the East Coast tourist operators are complaining because the daily temperature is taken at 3pm, but maximum temperatures - often of 3 or 4 degrees higher - occur later in the afternoon, so a true temperature is not being broadcast. It certainly seems to be the case here! It's supposed to get to 28 on Tuesday, so we'll be heading for the pool!

Today Lauren and her friend Maddy were playing outside, but wanted to be on the trampoline where it was too hot, so we made a cubby - like I used to love making - so they could have a comfy but cool spot. Sassy thought it sounded like a good idea too until it got too hot for her and she conked out!
in the shade where she can cool off happily away from all the action!
Hope you are having a lovely day in sunny S.A!
